N.Y. State of Mind
Overview
For this project, I was given the responsibility of creating a design for a shirt to be worn at a hip-hop concert in 2022. The design was intended to showcase the performing musicians at the event.
Skills/Methods
The goal of this design was to create a bold and modern look that also accurately represents the featured artists featured on the shirt. By incorporating the event's color scheme, I aimed to incorporate ink techniques commonly seen in print designs such as comics. Additionally, I used a variety of brush strokes to produce a one-of-a-kind digital artwork. This piece was exclusively created using Clip Studio Paint.
Outcome
The end product, which was featured on T-shirts, was sold through an online retailer and received numerous purchases, while also gaining recognition at the event for its original artistic approach.

The design was originally created for student use and was highly praised for its use of colors and design elements that resonated with the National Park.
Super Ashley’s 10th
Overview
For this project, I designed my son's yearly birthday card to feature him as one of his beloved video game characters. My goal was to give it the appearance of a video game cover.
Skills/Methods
In celebration of my son's birthday, I aimed to accurately depict his appearance and reflect his passion in the overall design. The main design was created using Clip Studio Paint, while the logo was made in Adobe Illustrator. Drawing inspiration from multiple photos of my son over the past year and incorporating elements from video games, I handcrafted every detail from start to finish. Throughout the design process, I kept in mind that the final product needed to be suitable for both printing and T-shirt production.
Outcome
This was the tenth piece I created for my son's birthday. It was featured on physical invitations and thank-you cards, social media, and printed on T-shirts. Interestingly, it was the first piece we created together, with my son contributing to one of the cracks in the cliffs.
Remembrance
Overview
I made a personal artwork in 2020 as a tribute to my late mother, depicting her in a portrait that resembles her.
Skills/Methods
The objective of this design was to honor my mother and accurately depict her in my own artistic style. Incorporating shades of purple, pink, and red, which were her favorite colors, was important to me in creating a design that paid tribute to her. I approached this project with utmost respect for my subject, using Clip Studio Paint to hand-draw everything digitally.
Outcome
This stunning digital artwork was created while I was grieving deeply for the loss of my mother. It was carefully printed on high-quality 5 x 7 cards and sent with care to my beloved family members as a special way to honor my mother's life.
Raph’s Revenge
Overview
For this project I wanted to create a fan art for a contest from my client, who wanted the theme created in an innovative design.
Skills/Methods
The goal for this design was to make it look like it came from a comic book noir style. In this piece I originally drafted this by pencil and then utilize Clip Studio Paint for the inking and coloring techniques as well as the lettering.
Outcome
My method was straightforward, as I aimed to tackle this in a non-traditional manner, paying tribute to the original material while showcasing genuine talent. As a result, I ultimately achieved second place in the competition and gained recognition from a devoted audience for my artwork.
