Goldstar Media Group

Overview

I was responsible for directing the design of a logo for a fashion group on this project. As a Creative Director, I made sure that all the client's needs were included and met in the final presentation.

Skills/Methods

As Creative Director, I managed the gathering of needs from stakeholders and told the designer what they needed. My focus was to ensure the design accurately reflected their vision and met the highest standards. I also gave constructive feedback and clear directions to achieve the best possible outcome. Additionally, I reviewed the final product and made any necessary edits to ensure all elements were in line and all assets were rendered agreeably.

Outcome

In my capacity as a leader, it was my responsibility to ensure that deadlines were met and that stakeholders were regularly updated on the progress of their work. Thanks to my strong leadership and organizational skills, I successfully oversaw the development of a distinct logo for the brand, solidifying their presence in the fashion industry.

JVO Cakes

Overview

My task was to create an elegant logo for a cake decorating business that incorporated elements of both a tarot card and the client's exceptional decorating abilities.

Skills/Methods

In this project, I showcased my proficiency in digital art and graphic design by ensuring precise alignment of all lines. Additionally, I had to research and familiarize myself with various art styles commonly used in tarot card designs to fully bring the concept to life.

Outcome

Upon integrating multiple design elements into the project, I successfully crafted a distinct and tailored design that fully satisfied the client's requirements, surpassing their expectations. The resulting logo was tailored for utilization in both print and web formats.

Made in the 80’s

Overview

This particular work was originally intended as a component of a larger piece, but it caught attention with its vintage aesthetic and layout.

Skills/Methods

By utilizing Adobe Photoshop, I examined various design components of the 1980s, specifically VHS tapes. Drawing inspiration from these elements, I successfully crafted a creative asset that enhances the overall retro aesthetic of the era. The key feature of this design showcases my proficiency in typography, color theory, and other digital design techniques.

Outcome

Furthermore, with the incorporation of this specific design element, I successfully captured the desired aesthetic and atmosphere for the entire project with a 1980s theme.

Overview

The logo was crafted with a dojo in mind. The idea of 'fullness' was considered to make sure the needs of the client, a jiu-jitsu martial art master, were met.

Skills/Methods

During my research for the project, I became more and more interested in the martial art's history, which dates back many centuries. The owner of the school is someone who cherishes the simple things in life and is a traditionalist at heart. I wanted to combine a simple, but visually appealing look with a traditional Japanese art style in the approach. This impacts the readability and visual appeal of the design.

Outcome

When making the logo, I wanted it to be meaningful to the client. The mountains are a symbol of him and his two brothers, who sadly passed away nine months apart. The mountains, like the brothers, stood strong and tall.

EVO Dodgeball Team

Overview

The objective of this project was to produce a logo representing a sophisticated cyber ninja for a dodgeball team. The desired design aimed to incorporate elements inspired by a renowned comic book illustrator.

Skills/Methods

As I conducted my research for the project, I gained a thorough understanding of the team's desired direction. They also shared rough sketches of their vision for of their logo. While the visual concept was not well illustrated, the information provided was well-documented and gave me a clear direction to follow to achieve the team's goal. To make the final product, I used many ways. I used traditional art for the first sketches, Clip Studio Paint, and Adobe Photoshop for the final digital work.

Outcome

Throughout this project, I maintained constant communication with both myself and the stakeholder to ensure that all project requirements were met. Due to the high level of detail required, updates were shared weekly to keep everyone informed. Any necessary adjustments were addressed promptly to avoid any setbacks, ultimately resulting in a successful project. The end goal was to ensure that the project was ready for web visibility and consistent merchandise printing.
